Any Philips DVD Players with a usb input will read this dock station and it's hard drive.
Since this dock stattion has 2 usb cables and one is a dedicated for power only, you can get a USB to Ac power adaptor and convert it as AC power. Format a partition to FAT32 on the hard drive, and BAM!!! a stand alone movie player unit. I tried and work beautifully....

Review :
It's a dock for the Freeagent Go portable drive. It works.
The box says that it requires TWO free USB ports on the computer, and the hardwired cable does indeed have two USB plug heads on it. However, it works just fine with only one of them plugged into the computer, leaving the other one hanging loose....
Really Nice

What more can I say? The dock is heavy, stable, simple and makes baking up that much easier. Keeps your desk uncluttered and the hard drive safe. Would purchase again....

The leather case is pretty nice. I would try to find a hard case if you are prone to dropping things, but this works nice for keeping the hard drive from getting scratched, there is also a little pocket on the back for the USB cable.
The dock works very well, It doesn't take up alot of space on the desk. I have noticed people warning about the 2 USB plugs on this. It does have two USB plugs, but you don't have to have both plugged in to use the 320 Gig drive, (I have the 320 gig)....
