I just wanted to take a minute to say how impressed I am- I knew that the castle I purchased was already great, but the service was incredible. Kind and friendly (real people on the phone) and the fastest shipping ever! I am so happy. I will definitely order from you again!...

Review :
I bought this for my son's 5th birthday and he and his friends (boys and girls) played with the castle all day. The kids were actually waiting to play with the castle over the commercial action figure toys that are marketed everywhere. This is a great imaginative toy for boys! The construction is durable as all Melissa and Doug toys are....

Best castle out there as far as I can tell. We alternate playing with playmobil knights/princesses and Schleich horses/fairies. My son (2) got the blue castle for Christmas, my daughter (5) the pink one. They both love their castles and play with them a lot. ...

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson for christmas. It arrived much sooner than expected. It was beautifully packed in shrink wrap in a heavy box. Ready to play with right out of the box. Lovely details. Lots of play value with stairs and working drawbridge and trap door. My grandson plays with it everyday and includes all sizes of his action figures in the scene. 4 year olds don't concern themselves with scale.
He sometimes plays rough and this castle can take it. I would...

Review :
My son wanted a castle for Christmas, and I wanted a castle that wouldn't fall apart by the New Year. This castle is built to be played with by kids, and to withstand the abuse of their toddler syblings. It's not a dark and dreary color, and it's not all cutesy pink and purple, so it's great for boys or girls. My son loves it for his soldier figurines, and my daughter loves it for her princess figurines. A great toy!...

Sturdy, Fun and Detailed

Review :
My 6 y.o. son loves this castle. Ideally, smaller figures fit the doorways and archways but my son plays with his Schleich and Pago figures and it works because the castle is so big. It is well-made and the fold in/out feature makes it nice for storage.
There is a loose half tower that is great for play but it has been dropped several times. Nothing that should discourage you from buying it.
This is one of the best prices I have seen on these castles. Shipping was...
Good toy for young children

Review :
This is a great wooden toy. When I took this castle (along with some tubes of knights) to a Renaissance event it kept quite a few children highly entertained. The only problem we had with it was that the drawbridge didn't close all the way so it didn't want to stay up (darn that gravity) but I think it can be sanded down a bit so that it closes all the way. ...

Review :
We (Santa and I) got this for my 4 year old daughter this christmas. She was very excited, but actually I think a little overwhelmed but that comes from getting all the toys. My 22 month old likes to sit right in the middle and move his guys around. The 4 year old really likes to be able to have it open or closed and have someone come to the gate. I like the lack of sharp corners, stability, reasonable price and foldability. Here it is 4 months later and she still plays with it and it is...
